A marketing site the team can run themselves.
BrightLeaf had a site nobody could edit. Every price change, new service page or job posting went through a developer queue and waited days.
Site rebuild + CMS
Design, build, content migration and editor training.
Down from every change before the rebuild.
The brief
The old site looked dated and, more importantly, had calcified. Content lived in hand-coded templates, so the marketing team could not publish anything without help. New service lines were being announced on social media before they appeared on the website.
What we did
- Restructured the site around what prospects actually look for: services, proof, people, contact — in that order.
- Built a block-based editing model so any page can be assembled from a small set of tested layouts, without a page builder plugin.
- Designed editor screens deliberately: clear field names, sensible defaults, no way to break the layout by accident.
- Migrated existing content and set redirects for every retired URL so ranking was not lost.
- Added structured data, per-page metadata and an XML sitemap the CMS keeps current.
- Ran a training session with the marketing team and left them written instructions.
The result
The team now publishes new service pages and job postings the same day, without a developer. Organic traffic recovered within a month of the migration and continued climbing, and the site scores well on Core Web Vitals on mobile.
